Description
Hoary Marmot- The whistling mammal warns of approaching danger with a sharp call. These playful creatures enjoy sliding in the snow, rolling downhill and dance in pairs, front paws to paws, rotating their heads and clacking their front teeth together. They live along the timber line on a diet of wild lettuce blossoms and hibernate 7 1/2 months of the year.
