Pine Martin or American Sable- One of our most beautiful and graceful forest animals. Now, no longer plentiful. During the 18th century, in the span of one year, between Canada and the Hudson Bay company, 45,000 skins were sold or exported. This mainly arboreal mammal has a curious nature, travels 10 to 15 miles a night and only kills what it needs.
